The Builder Book Planet Pack, Split Perspectivz CIC

‘The Builder Book’ is a children’s educational enterprise founded by Split Perspectivz CIC; who encourage storytelling, creativity, and invention to young learners throughout Liverpool via free illustrated packs. Contents of the packs include children’s books, colouring books, worksheet activities, board games, and paper crafts, all revolving around the promotion of active learning!

‘The Planet Pack’ variation of ‘The Builder Book’ is my third project worked on since becoming a member of their creative team - and my role involves working alongside a fellow illustrator as part of a much larger team. My role within ‘The Planet Pack’ revolved primarily around illustrating educational and interactive pages for a main element of ‘The Builder Book’; an eighty-page activity book. There were six sections focused on: Construction, Food, Energy, Recycling, Transport and Fashion - and the book worked to educate children on how to reduce waste, recycle and up-cycle old items, and to invent and innovate new ideas. Over 10,000 packs were printed and distributed across Liverpool!
